The Associates’ Sulk is a unique post-punk amalgam of ’80s pop and classic cabaret sounds that is capped with the unmistakable, sometimes otherworldly, vocals of Billy MacKenzie, and features their biggest hits ‘Party Fears Two’ and ‘Club Country’. Formed in in 1976 by Billy McKenzie and Alan Rankine, The Associates made lavish, genre-bending cabaret pop and Sulk (1982) is their crowning achievement.
