The musical range is reminiscent of mid-80’s Replacements in it’s variety and sincerity cut with wit. Devitt’s lyrics have grown more empathetic and detailed: At once sweet and biting. Recurring themes of family, home, and personal growth (or arrested development) all inform the album.
