Limited 180gm audiophile vinyl LP pressing. Ray Charles Robinson was a top vocal star, songwriter, leading jazz piano player and composer. He was sometimes referred to as ‘The Genius’ and was also nicknamed ‘The High Priest of Soul’. This compilation features some of his best songs from his early Atlantic years. ‘I’ve Got a Woman’ combines a mixture of gospel, jazz and blues elements that would later prove to be seminal in the development of rock ‘n’ roll and soul music. Also included are hits like ‘This Little Girl of Mine’, ‘A Fool for You’ and ‘Hallelujah, I Love Her So’.
