Chthonic hasn’t released an album since Bu-Tik in 2013, though delay had to do with frontman Freddy Lim being elected to political office in Taiwan in 2016. Formed in 1995, Chthonic has toured in over 40 countries, played hundreds of concerts and festivals, and become the most visible Taiwanese metal band with international publicity.
