In the course of a decade, Blatant Finger evolved from three boys that skateboarded together in a cold mess of a town known as Newark, Ohio; into an RV-destroying clan of U.S. highway terror based out of what used to be Columbus, Ohio’s gritty South Campus. Blatant Finger’s streetwise sound comes from the hard luck attitude of Newark, Ohio and gets dressed up for the party with lottsa’ guitar hooks and strikingly poppy song arrangements. The simple formula of BF hasn’t strayed much over 5 full-length albums (89 Records and Pelado Records). Fortunately for Blatant Finger, the trend-averse shenanigans are always a breath of fresh air when you hear the tone-drenched guitar hook and heartfelt vocals.
