BLACK WIZARD is a heavy metal and hard rock band from Vancouver BC, formed in 2009 between high-school friends. Years later and a few member changes later, the band is going stronger than ever. Still run by two of the founding members, Eugene Parkomenko (drums) and Adam Grant (vocals/guitar), they are accompanied by Danny Stokes (guitar) and Evan Joel (bass). The boys are set to put out a brand new record entitled Livin’ Oblivion” in early 2018, their second release on Listenable Records and BLACK WIZARD’s fourth full length album release. Produced and engineered by Michael Kraushaar in Vancouver, BC, the album art is done by Berlin’s Eliran Kantor (TESTAMENT, CROWBAR, SATAN etc). Since their first Listenable album release “New Waste” in early 2016, the band has been touring non-stop : Headlining Cross Canada month-long tour w/DEAD QUIET, co-headliner on European tour with JOY, Canadian mini tour with RED FANG, supporting KILLSWITCH ENGAGE & VOLBEAT 6-week stadium tour, month-long USA support for Brant Bjork (KYUSS / FU MANCHU) & ROYAL THUNDER, month-long USA/Canada support for WEEDEATER, east coast USA dates with PENTAGRAM, numerous support slots in Western Canada for acts such as CANDLEMASS, BLACK BREATH, 3 INCHES OF BLOOD, SLEEP, UNCLE ACID & THE DEADBEATS, DEAD MEADOW and many more ! At home on the road, BLACK WIZARD is ready to get back on tour and hopefully for a good, long while. Starting off 2018, the band will find themselves on their fourth European run. As the guys would say, life on the road is like “Livin’ life on the tip of the beak of the Eagle..”.
