2012 reissue on grey and putty vinyl LP. Bayside’s 2007 album Walking Wounded” was their big breakout album. Although it was their third release, it really caught the attention of the public and critics at large. As the first album after the death of their drummer in a traffic accident, the surviving band members seem happy to be alive. Surprisingly upbeat for these avowed emo gloomers, it charges hard into the light. Their performance is tight, and they’ve kicked their instrumental talents up a notch. Fans took the album up to #75 on the Billboard 200, but it has grown rapidly in popularity since it’s release. Victory Records.
