"Jacky's Only Happy When She's Up on the Stage" is the blustery third single from Morrissey's new album Low in High School, the enigmatic Smiths frontman's first solo effort since 2014. The album cut comes backed by a live version of the Elvis Presley-penned "You'll Be Gone." On his eleventh studio album, Morrissey's talent for combining political statements and beautiful melodies is more prevalent than ever as he captures the zeitgeist of an ever-changing world. Low in High School was recorded at La Fabrique Studios in France and Ennio Morricone's Forum Studios in Rome. The collection was produced by Joe Chiccarelli (Frank Zappa, The Strokes, Beck, The White Stripes).
