The original version of American Poet Live received limited distribution and has been deleted for a number of years making the demand for this reissue high. The material on this remastered DOUBLE-LP was recorded live at Alice Tully Hall, NYC, January 27th, 1973. Included are renditions of classic Velvet Underground tracks sa 'I'm Waiting For The Man', 'Heroin', 'Sister Ray' , 'Sweet Jane' and 'White Light White Heat'.
